A/B/K: Aleppo, Baghdad, Kabul.
I tre pannelli, che formano un trittico, rappresentano le strutture urbanistiche di Aleppo, Baghdad e Kabul. Il progetto artistico indaga il tema delle connessioni a partire dal supporto, un materiale utilizzato in elettronica altamente conduttivo e costituito da rame e vetronite.
Aleppo, Baghdad e Kabul sono tre città simbolo di un conflitto. Sono entrate nelle nostre vite, ne sentiamo parlare quotidianamente, ma in realtà, a parte i loro nomi, conosciamo poco o nulla. Le idealizziamo, le immaginiamo lontane e diverse dalle nostre città.
Oriente e Occidente. Dove sorge il sole e dove tramonta. Le mappe che io ho disegnato sono specchiate, simboleggiano il rovescio della medaglia, quello che non possiamo vedere, una realtà da scoprire attraverso uno specchio.
Le lastre sono costituite da un foglio di rame incollato ad un pannello di vetronite, un materiale traslucido che lascia filtrare la luce nelle parti in cui l'acidazione ha eliminato il rame.

The three panels that make up a triptych, portray the urbanistic structures of Aleppo, Baghdad and Kabul. This work of art investigates the theme of connections beginning from the artistic support material, that is highly used in electronics conductive and it is composed by copper and fiberglass.
Aleppo, Baghdad and Kabul are three cities symbol of a war conflict. They are part of our everyday life, we hear them every day, but in reality, we know very little of them. We idealize these cities, we imagine them as distant and very different from our cities.
East and West, where the sun rise and where the sun set. These city maps are reflected, they symbolize the downside, what we cannot see, a reality to be discovered just through a mirror.
these boards are composed by a copper layer glued to a fiberglass layer, a traslucent material which lets the light through the etching parts.
